Album and CD Cover: Bon Iver

 -For this assignment I wanted to recreate an album design for one of my favorite music artists, Bon Iver.  The background of his music; it is very melodic, acoustic, and rhythmic.  The feel of the music is very soft, and a type of music you can listen to at almost any time, especially on a long drive through a canyon.  Taking that kind of feel, and researching a little bit about the history of the group, I came up with this design, which is put together in a constructivist format. 

The reasons for the cabin is to represent where the lead singer was inspired to create the music for the band, which was in a cabin in the middle of Wisconsin.  The child that is seen on the back of the packaging is to reflect the long journey that has taken him to find the music he has been looking to create.  The child was also inspired by a music video the band created for one of songs that is on this album (see link below.)
